A growth spurt for Aragen
March 2016
SHARING OPTIONS:

MORGAN HILL, Calif.—Aragen Bioscience Inc. has broken ground on what will become a state-of-the-art research facility dedicated to testing and characterizing novel therapeutics and vaccines. This facility will add 15,000 square feet to the company’s current laboratories and double its capacity for diverse efficacy studies, which are critical for developing products for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a variety of diseases. The facility is designed for AAALAC accreditation and GLP compliance, and should be functional in the second quarter of this year.

“This project demonstrates Aragen’s commitment to future growth and meeting the needs of our clients for value-added services. The new facility not only expands general capacity but is constructed for high technical performance and tight environmental control, including provision of BSL-2 studies. We look forward to seeing the building progress and its opening later this year,” said Dr. Malavika Ghosh, Aragen’s vice president of preclinical services.
