AAALAC accreditation for two Envigo sites
September 2016
SHARING OPTIONS:

HUNTINGDON, U.K.—Envigo recently received full accreditation from the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International Council for its breeding facilities in Bresso, Italy, and Wyton, U.K. The company's Horst, Netherlands, facility was also accredited earlier this year, and Envigo's aim is to secure AAALAC accreditation for all company sites.

“The AAALAC accreditation of Wyton and Bresso is great news and demonstrates the high standards we set for animal welfare and quality at Envigo. This is the third accreditation for our European breeding facilities in four months and is testimony to the efforts and commitment of our professional staff, which has now been validated by AAALAC, a great honor for us all,” said Dr. Paul Brooker, Envigo's president of contract research and research and models services in Europe.
