Fully automated fluorescent multiplex ISH assay for FFPE tissue

The extremely sensitive RNAscope LS Multiplex Fluorescent Assay produces data with up to 10 times more signal than the previous multiplex fluorescent assay from ACD, enabling quantifiable, high-quality publication-grade data for even very low-expressing genes in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues (FFPE). RNAscope LS Multiplex Fluorescent Assay kits are commercially available for use in customer laboratories and also through ACD’s Pharma Assay Services.
 
Easy to use and ideal for co-localization and co-expression studies, the new assay enables single-molecule detection of up to three RNA targets simultaneously, each in a separate probe channel (C1, C2 and C3). Customers can freely select appropriate channels for their genes of interest and, with balanced signal amplification delivering a high signal-to-noise ratio across all channels, any gene can be analyzed in any channel—regardless of expression levels. The new assay features a significant signal boost and background noise suppression thanks to advances in ACD’s patented signal amplification technology combined with Tyramide technology. This delivers robust signals in both FFPE and fresh frozen samples. The new assay format also facilitates dual in-situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry protocols.
