HudsonAlpha associate company transOMIC technologies launched the transEDIT-dual CRISPR arrayed library that targets every gene in the human genome. Developed in collaboration with Dr. Greg Hannon of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Cancer Research UK and Dr. Simon Knott of Cedars-Sinai, the transEDIT-dual CRISPR arrayed library uses a new algorithm to create novel and superior gRNA sequences to be used with the CRISPR/Cas9 system. CRISPR/Cas9 is a recently discovered tool for genome editing that has quickly revolutionized the ability to generate site-specific mutations, speeding up the pace of genomic discoveries.
