A PDX partnership
August 2018
SHARING OPTIONS:

SAN DIEGO—With a goal of advancing its immuno-oncology drug discovery pipeline, Pierre Fabre Research Institute has tapped Crown Bioscience (CrownBio) as a research partner. The latter manages the largest collection of patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models and develops humanized solutions for immuno-oncology drug development, and will apply that expertise to engraft PDX models chosen by Pierre Fabre into CD34+ humanized mouse models. Financial terms were not disclosed.

“Pierre Fabre recognizes the value of CrownBio’s extensive PDX collection and their expertise in implementing innovative humanization strategies,” said Nathalie Corvaia, head of the New Biologic Entity Platform and director of the Center of Immunology R&D at Pierre Fabre. “We have chosen them as our partner for these reasons and look forward to what we are confident will be a successful alliance.”
