MEQUON, Wis.—Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) held a grand opening in mid-May for its Innovation Center for Drug Development, established at the new Innovation Accelerator building, which is the first building to open on the University of Wisconsin Innovation Campus. The CUW School of Pharmacy will be utilizing the space to offer a Master of Pharmaceutical/Chemical Development (MPD) degree beginning this August.

“Our Innovation Center for Drug Development provides a unique hybrid classroom-research lab, with cutting-edge resources you won’t find anywhere else in the state for drug design, manufacturing, formulation and analytical characterization,” said Dr. Daniel Sem, program director for the MPD degree.
