384-well, clear-bottom microplates facilitate automation compatibility
January 2012
SHARING OPTIONS:
Corning Inc.
Corning Inc. has announced an upgrade to its
existing line
of Corning 384-well clear bottom microplates. The microplates are dimensionally
identical to the recently upgraded solid-colored
microplates, allowing for easy
transition into existing automation and readers. The microplates are also made
of improved material, ensuring better
lot-to-lot consistency for more precise
drug discovery outcomes. The larger sidewall surface area increases flexibility
in bar-coding options. The
black Corning CellBIND, non-treated, tissue culture
and non-binding surface, 384-well, clear-bottom microplates are available now;
the white versions
and the Poly-D Lysine surface microplates will be available
early this year.
