Three new validated protocols are now available to automate 96-well solubility, PAMPA and permeability assays. These protocols were validated using Millipore's MultiScreenŽ assay systems and Caliper's Sciclone ALH 3000 Liquid Handling Workstation and provide hands-free operation and greater productivity. Millipore's MultiScreen Solubility Assay System, MultiScreen Permeability filter plate, and MultiScreen filter plate for PAMPA are part of a family of optimized ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion) assays.

Developed to screen drug compounds in the early stages of discovery, the MultiScreen pre-ADME and ADME profiling tools are designed to improve lead predictability and increase productivity. The Caliper Sciclone ALH 3000 Liquid Handling Workstation offers precision, adaptability and scalability for efficient automated processing of 96-, 384-, and 1536-well microplates. The Caliper Sciclone workstation can be configured to automate numerous applications, including sample preparation and screening assays.
