ViroStat

ViroStat's latest product offering consists of monoclonal antibodies to Mycoplasma genitalium, a small bacterium that lacks a cell wall and has the smallest genome of any free-living organism. The species resides in the human urogenital tract and causes urethritis in both men and women as well pelvic inflammatory disease in women. ViroStat has released a set of four antibodies specific to the bacterium that do not cross-react with other bacteria in the same family or related bacteria. The antibodies are available for research and assay development in ELISA and IFA.
