11-14-2007
SHARING OPTIONS:

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—In mid-September, InforSense Ltd., a provider of embedded enterprise intelligence, announced that the University of British Columbia's James Hogg iCAPTURE Centre for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Research, based at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, had selected InforSense GenSense for genetic research programs into heart, lung and vascular systems.
"The volume of data being generated by the latest genotyping technologies is very large and growing exponentially, and we require a tool that scales to automatically check and analyze these large data sets," says Dr. Scott Tebbutt, principal investigator at the iCAPTURE Centre. "GenSense provides us with workflows and an easy-to-use portal that rapidly QCs and annotates the data, enabling us to quickly gain maximum value from our genome studies."
