Neon transfection device enables delivery of DNA and RNA into broad range of cell types
Invitrogen, a division of Life Technologies, has launched the Neon Transfection Device, a benchtop tool that enables researchers to better understand the functions of cells, genes and proteins. The device features a unique transfection chamber that minimizes cell death, as well as programmable software, and minimal reagent requirements that combine to provide researchers the flexibility to work with many different cell types. The device simplifies the delivery of DNA, RNA and proteins into a wide range of mammalian cell types, especially difficult to transfect cells, such as many types of primary and stem cells.
